The EU funded project’ ’EU Action (EU-ACT) against Drugs and Organised Crime jointly with the Embassy of France in Tbilisi organised ’’Cross-border Regional and Operational Exercise of Controlled Delivery’’, from 22 to 26 October 2018.
Prosecutors, law enforcement and customs officers from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine together with experts from EUROPOL, OCTRIS jointly participated in the operational real time CD exercise.
One-week operational exercise aimed to enhance international law enforcement cooperation between Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine in order to effectively fight international drug transit and organised crime. The exercise involved to conduct simulation of operative investigative activities, form joint investigative teams with foreign law enforcement partners. The CD exercise was conducted both on the territory of Armenia and Georgia and was concluded by a conference organised in Batumi.
